The Armory Show: Booth 204
HOLDING SPACE AS RADICAL PERSISTENCE
Anant Art’s debut at The Armory Show 2025, presenting works by Bushra Waqas Khan, Probir Gupta, and Vikrant Bhise. Across painting, assemblage, and sculptural printmaking, the artists reclaim physical, institutional, and ideological spaces from which they have long been excluded. Bhise channels Ambedkarite resistance to caste oppression; Gupta interrogates displacement and systemic violence; and Khan subverts bureaucratic symbols of control. Together, their practices challenge colonial, casteist, and patriarchal frameworks, offering space as a site of defiance, memory, and agency. This presentation invites viewers to consider the quiet, radical act of refusing erasure.
