Mirror / Mirror is the debut exhibition by Studio Catalyst, Anant Art’s affiliate programme dedicated to empower a carefully selected cohort of young artists as they embark on their professional journeys. The programme’s mission is to bridge the gap between artistic practice and industry knowledge, enabling young artists to navigate the complexities of the art economy.
Mirror/Mirror illuminates the tender space where personal reflection and societal observation intersect in a world that often overlooks the quiet moments of introspection. This exhibition explores the mirror as a potent metaphor for inner scrutiny and collective critique, with each artist’s practice serving as a reflective surface to reveal intricate layers of identity, memory, and existence. It features a dynamic collection of works by Studio Catalyst artists, including Aditya Puthur, Anikesa Dhing, Anushree Rabadia, Bhimanshu Pandel, Dakshayani Chippada, Katyayini Gargi, Niroj Satpathy, Srinia Chowdhury, and Thamshangpha Maku.
