WHERE DO WE COME FROM?
WHAT ARE WE?
WHERE ARE WE GOING?
An Exhibition of Works by Vibha Galhotra
Anant Art Gallery, 2006 (August)
Catalogue Essay: Bhavna Kakar
Dexterously weaving sculpture, photography, assemblage, installation, printmaking, painting and stitch craft into one seamless tapestry , Vibha Galhotra moves in different realms and her current exhibition/project is a reflection of that adaption. Nature has always played a great source of inspiration for her, especially the lust scenic spaces of Santiniketan. The solidarity with Nature reflects in her woodcuts that are characterized by clarity, and lucidity, as start and austere, as they are refreshing, and serene. She continues with her series titled ‘Lonely Planet’ in embossed prints and drawings and bronze sculptures.
