Rhizomorphic (series of work on canvas, signed and dated, at the obverse side)
reflects upon the idea of decentralized structures that embrace complexity, multiplicity, and interconnectedness.
The body of artwork takes inference from the philosophical work on rhizome ‘A Thousand Plateaus", by Gilles Deleuze and
Félix Guattari (1980). It theorizes in perspective, how rhizomorphic systems comprising of diverse moving parts, organize
themselves through dynamic interactions, in perpetual motion, transforming and adapting.
Complementing to the wisdom of mycelium gossamers under our feet, the theory establishes a strong parallel to networks
in nature and their phenomenal ways of working. Building upon this quintessential knowledge, empathy and mutualism,
the rhizomorphic patterns of thought and action emphasize becoming over being.
