Anant Art is excited to announce its upcoming group exhibition featuring fifteen remarkable art practices from the subcontinent and beyond. Titled ‘nisba,’ the exhibition plays on the Arabic adjectival noun’s meaning of relation, familial bonds, and rhizomatic connections, bringing artworks from varied geographies and thematic understandings under the same roof. Topical, socially pertinent, and visually awe-inspiring, the works on display seek to inspire the viewer with pleasure, provocation or respite.
Weaving together artworks ranging from serene landscapes, self-expression, to political nightmares of our trepid times, the exhibition includes artists Abhishek Narayan Verma, Arslan Farooqi, Bushra Waqas Khan, Dhara Mehrotra, Digbijayee Khatua, Ghulam Mohammad, Hammad Gilani, Harsh Nambiar, Laxmipriya Panigrahi, Malavika Rajnarayan, Probir Gupta, Puja Mondal, Rehana Mangi, Tito Stanley SJ, and Vikrant Bhise.
nisba shall be on view at our exhibiting space in Noida until 15th July, 2023. We are open Monday to Saturday, and can host on Sundays by appointment.
